The MCC Rebel girls basketball team was back in action after a long break for the holidays. The Rebels opened the new year on the road against the 0-8 Edgerton Flying Dutchmen. The Rebels ended 2012 with a two game winning streak but the Rebels had to shake off a great deal of rust in hopes of beating Edgerton who saw one game over the holiday break. The MCC Rebels played one of their worst games in recent memory against a team that has struggled to win games this season. The Rebels two game winning streak ended and MCC hopefully learned a great lesson on focus and not taking things for granted.
