Before the Holiday break, the Fulda/Murray County Central Warrior wrestling team hosted a triangular in Fulda with TMB/WWG and Luverne. The Warriors had good success against the Panthers, but the Cardinals did everything they could to get a win over the Warriors.
F/MCC and the Panthers first squared off to start the triangular. In the first match of the day, Daulton Carlson and Jon Gehl wrestled in the 106 pound class. Carlson was able to get the Panthers control right away in the team points about half way through the second period. There, Gehl couldn’t escape the grasp that Carslon had on him, and Carlson was able to win by fall in 4:29.
