The Slayton Police Department (SPD) received a 911 call at 3:40 on the morning of December 12, 2012 from an adult female in the 1800 block of Tomah Court. The caller indicated she was seeking assistance with going to Alaska to help a friend. SPD spoke with the caller who was very slow to answer and seemed confused. The adult female was transported to Murray County Medical Center (MCMC) for evaluation. She was the placed on a seventy-two hour mental health hold.
An adult male was cited at 4:49 that afternoon on Highway 30 with failure to wear a safety belt.
A juvenile male was warned at 5:35 that evening for exhibition driving in the 2000 block of Maple Avenue.
