This is our last issue before Christmas and our Christmas wish for you is to have a great Christmas with family and friends.
The Mayan calender ends this Friday the 21st. My calender ends Monday the 31. Both will begin again.

This is our last issue before Christmas and our Christmas wish for you is to have a great Christmas with family and friends. We will be printing our next issue early so every one can enjoy the holiday. We will be printing on Friday and will need everything in on Thursday or earlier. Your paper will arrive at the normal time of the week (hopefully). The next week will be the same thing. Tuesday holidays always come with difficulty for us. We appreciate your help.

It is a White Christmas. It's what we all wanted along with the accompanied moisture. You’re probably thinking several feet of the white stuff would have been better but let's consider moderation. We can still get more when winter is officially here. Watching The Voice for the first time on Tuesday night I did catch our homegrown Minnesota boy, Nicholas David, in the final three showdown. My usual TV time is limited to a movie here and there or whatever goes with popcorn. So watching The Voice was not a normal thing. If I was motivated to vote, Mr. David had mine. Tuesday night will be the final and a winner will be named. Let me know how it comes out.

Did you know that according to the song, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", Santa has twelve reindeer? Sure, in the introduction it goes "There's Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen..." That makes eight reindeer. Then there's Rudolph, of course, so that makes nine. Then there's Olive. You know, "Olive the other reindeer used to laugh..." That makes ten. The eleventh is Howe. You know, "Then Howe the reindeer loved him..." Eleven reindeer. Oh, and number 12? That's Andy! "Andy shouted out with glee." The proof is in the song!

Q. Why does Santa go down the chimney on Christmas rather than through the door?

A. Because it soot’s him!

Have a Merry Christmas!!
