Girls kick off basketball season on Saturday | |

The MCC Rebels Girls Basketball team will open their season Tuesday night against the Windom Eagles. The Rebels have been practicing for just over two weeks before playing their first game and its practice time that is greatly needed. The Rebels have a lot going for them this season with a strong returning group of players from a year ago, but they also have a new coach in Laura Jenson. With new schemes to learn and a new playbook, practice will be even more important for the Rebels early in the season. Even with an experienced team coming back for the Rebels, one would expect the Rebels to be a team that will get better as the season develops.
