The kindergarten class held their annual Dads N Donuts event this past Friday morning. They played a math game, and our students read a book called, "Just Like Dad." When it is time to leave the kindergarten students give their dads a portrait that they painted of their dad. We do muffins for mom in October when we are working on the letter sound m. We do Donuts for dad when we are working on the letter sound d. This is just once a year. It is a chance to get parents in to see what their children are doing in school and to spend time with their child. |
