| Mr. Mojo's “No Bullying Tour” is coming to MCC | |
|
The Escape Youth Center, MCC Community Education and Murray County 4-H have joined forces to take a stand against bullying in Murray County. Bullying has been around for decades but not to the extremes we see today. Interactions between children no longer stop after they leave school or get off the school bus. Bullying now exists through Facebook, Twitter, cell phones and Ipods. This allows the bullying to continue at home and to be seen by hundreds, thousands and in some cases even millions of other people making this a growing concern nationwide.
Through the generous contributions from the Murray County Medical Center and a grant from the SW Health & Human Services Families Project, we are making a collaborative effort to put an end to bullying by bring Mr. Mojo's “No Bullying Tour” to MCC on October 10.
