Two conference match ups were on the Rebels’ schedule this past week. On Tuesday, the Rebels traveled to Fulda to take on the Raiders during their homecoming week, and on Thursday, MCC went to Edgerton to do battle with the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles.

During the match with the Raiders, the Rebels made sure they shut the door on them early. In the first set, the Raiders got the first point, but MCC was able to bounce back with two points on a Raider error and a kill from Senior Ashley Clarke. The Raiders struggled for a short while as well when they couldn’t handle the serves, which that gave MCC a quick 5-2 lead. Fulda was able to bounce back and get within one point of MCC, but from there the Rebels went on the attack. Not only were the Rebels taking advantage of Raider errors such as the ball being hit into the net, but they were earning a number of points as well.
