Growing older can be a burden or you can look at what God has gifted you with and be satisfied that your life was well lived. Catherine Ruppert is one of the lucky ones who can look back over the past 100 years and say, 'It wasn't that bad.'

Catherine Ruppert was born on August 14, 1912 on the farm her parents, Theodore and Victoria lived on southwest of Iona, Minnesota. She attended St. Columba school in Iona, leaving after the eighth grade because, as she describes it, I was needed at home. Family was important to Catherine and she would end up taking care of her father for many years.
