It appears we will have another week of very nice November weather. How often do we get to mow the lawn this time of the year. The grass is green and it is a quick way to shred the leaves as most of them have fallen by now. Some of the farmers are beginning to see the end of harvest and I image by the end of the week there won’t be much corn left in the fields. The corn still isn’t dry enough for storage and you will hear the dryers going day and night. The late harvest is widespread and it will be interesting to see how it affects the prices.

Congratulations to the cast, staff and stage crew for a pleasurable evening of entertainment of “Beauty and the Beast.” It has been some time since there were sellout crowds three nights in a row. Lots of commitment, planning and rehearsing go into putting on a production of this kind. The sets were simple and the costuming was gorgeous.
