Duane Spartz, of Spartz and Sons Well Company, met with the council concerning Lost Timber Bible Camp hooking up with the city’s sewer system. Lost Timber began this process over four years ago, so new council members were unaware of these agreements. At that time the council approved the hook-up. This sewer hookup, a 3” line, going from the camp to the manhole located in the “Y” at the west end of Main Street, will be at the expense of Lost Timber’s.
The Bible Camp then waited for more funding before starting this process. Now the paperwork is ready to go, the equipment has been ordered, and the process may start this fall. It will be up to the city to decide what to charge the camp to hook up to the line, and then what the monthly/quarterly fee will be.
