1962 – Daniel Charles Buschena – 2020
In Loving Memory of Daniel Charles Buschena who passed away at his home under hospice care on Monday, January 27, 2020, at the age of 57. He was born on November 20, 1962, to Charles and Judy Buschena in Worthington, Minnesota. Dan grew up in Slayton, Minnesota graduating from High School in 1981. He graduated from Willmar Technical College in 1984 and made his trek to Santa Rosa in 1986. He spent his last 33 years living in Sonoma County working at AAA for 20+years and most recently at Vintage Wine Estates. His fun job for the last 25 years was working at Sonoma Raceway. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he loved cooking and enjoyed spending time in his beautiful backyard.
Dan is survived by his mother Judy Buschena, Bloomington MN; sister Denise (Jason) Gehrke, Burnsville MN; nieces and nephews: Jessica Schulte, Amanda Morin, Nicole (Craig) McDowell, Cody Gehrke, Cristy Litchy, Joshewa (Ariel) Gehrke and Anthony Gehrke; aunt Marlene Leinen; uncle Larry Kommes (Jackie) and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Buschena; grandparents aunts, uncles, and cousins: Darrell Leinen, Gloria Neirson, and David Buschena.
A memorial service to honor Dan will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fulda MN 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church.
