Court Queen of Peace met Saturday, February 15, 2020 beginning with Mass. Twelve new members were given a pin and recognized as new members. Those recognized were Judy Andrews, Chris Huso, Sue Zenk, Paula Herrig, Deanna Konkol, Joan Ratzloff, Missy Biren, Marti Engelkes, Sheila Risacher, Amy Kathman, Kelly Nelson, and Mary Meaden. Also recognized for her 60 years as a CDA member was Lucille Halbur.
Father Nguyen’s message was that life is a destination and will lose meaning if we do not have a destination keeping in mind that without God we would be lost.
Regent Risacher thanked those who attended the Dorothy Homan funeral, and Lee Crowley, Jean Hentges and the committee for the delicious brunch.
The Women’s Religious in the Circle of Love supports the Handmaids of the Child Jesus in New Ulm. They have requested funds for their summer workshop.
