First on the agenda was nominating a new chairman. James Jens and Dave Thiner were on the ballot. Jens was chosen and a unanimous vote was cast for Lori Gunnink as vice chair.
The Board reviewed and approved paying the 2018 appropriations and dues. Included is ACE of SW MN – quarterly payments of $3,762.75, ACE of SW MN (for coordinator on Aging Services) – quarterly payments of $4,187.50, American Legion Posts in County – $2,300, Area II MN River Basin – $2,945.30, Casey Jones Trail/Friends of – $1,000, Fulda Food Shelf, Inc. – $1,200, Fulda Heritage Society – $2,500, Murray County Ag Society ($13,750 in January and $13,750 in July and balance remaining of $34,000 if needed upon request after the fair), Murray County Economic Development Authority (Amy Rucker) – $14,500, Murray County Mutual Aid Assoc. – $3,000, Murray County Treasurer (SCORE – recycling center rent) – $7,008, Pioneer Public TV – $1,000, Plum Creek Library System – semi-annual payments of $29,333.50, RCRCA (Kerry Netzke) – $4,050…
