Christine“Chris” Quick – Obituary

1967 – Christine“Chris” Anne Quick – 2018

Chris Quick was born on April 21, 1967 in Bay Shore Long Island, New York to Gerry and Mickey Infante Quick. She grew up in Hauppauge, New York where she graduated from high school. Chris decided to make a new life for herself so she moved to Sunrise, Florida and lived with her bother Jim and his wife Sue. She remained in Florida for several years before moving back to New York for two years. She then moved to Tracy, Minnesota and later to Currie, Minnesota where she and Jared “Bubba” Fogelson made their home. Chris had a passion for the medical field receiving her EMT and Paramedic License and working at the Slayton, Minnesota and Balaton, Minnesota nursing homes. At the time of her death Chris was working at Runnings Supply in Marshall, Minnesota and at Breezy Barn near Currie. Chris loved both of her jobs because it gave her the opportunity to visit with people. Chris was a member of the Murray County Pool League for over 20 years. Chris passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 51. Chris had the biggest heart and her family was her number one priority. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, her Kindle, visiting with family and friends, shooting pool and hosting 4th of July activities. Having received her wings she is now truly an Angel to us all.
