Start your ovens…..….get set and bake!
The owners of the Stonegate Apple Orchard, Jason and Jenny Kirchner, are going to mash things up again this year at the apple pie judging contest. Don’t worry; there will still be the traditional pie contest. They are also having the category for kids, ages eight to 16, to submit an apple crisp for the competition. The students entering the crisp contest will be eligible for prizes in the top three placings and the adult pie winners will receive a cash prize, depending on the number of participants.
Bring your pies (or crisp) to Heritage Hall by noon on Thursday, August 18.
The pie and crisps will be served with ice cream for a small fee after the judging!
