Great excitement abounded at the home of Jennifer and Kenneth Clarke, Dundee, on Thursday,  August 25th, when they received a phone call son Kade had been waiting for. The Make-A-Wish Foundation was calling, asking  if Kade, Jennifer and Ken could do Kade’s Make-A-Wish the next Monday.

“My friend received a Make-A-Wish two years ago and his parents had encouraged me to make one. When we made the call, volunteers came to talk to me asking what I wanted to do,” Kade Clarke shared. “I wanted to meet the cast of the Fast and Furious or meet the cast of NCIS.”

Clarke had begun talking with Make-A-Wish representatives in November of last year. By April, he was notified that he would be able to visit the set of NCIS Most Wanted and meet the cast.

The Clarkes  stayed on Sunday night at the Radisson hotel, in the Twin Cities. On Monday morning, a limo came to the hotel, picked them up and they flew to Los Angeles. “We got a rental car and stayed at the Sheriton at Univeral Studios in Las Angeles,” Clarke explained. Monday evening was spent walking around touring the area.
