Slayton, MN – Thirteen gardeners enjoyed the fruits of their labor at the Pizza Garden pizza party Tuesday at the 4-H Building. Display of produce includes cantaloupe, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers, mini-boo pumpkins, eggplant, cabbage, onions and peppers.
The gardeners had been enjoying fresh produce for their snacks for several weeks already. This time they also took home sunflowers. The garden is a combined effort of University of Minnesota Extension 4-H Youth Development and Master Gardeners in Murray County. Sessions are each Tuesday morning out at the Slayton Community Garden.
