1928 – Carol C. Ford (Morin) – 2018
Carol was born in Slayton, MN on April 22nd, 1928 to Adelore & Hannah Morin. She passed away May 4th, 2018 just after celebrating her 90th birthday. After growing up in Minnesota, in 1962 she moved to Southern California with her three young girls to be with her sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Lyle DeVine, and their children in hopes of a new beginning. Carol was determined so while raising her three girls alone she got a job with Prudential Insurance and worked there for over thirty years. She enjoyed her much deserved retirement living in Yorba Linda, CA doing her favorite things like bird watching, cooking, canning, gardening and spending time with her girls and their families. Her grandchildren loved visiting her and they often raved about her humor and cooking. The holidays were her favorite time of the year when everyone got together and she could cook for many and share her canned goods. She had never ending love for her family.
Carol is survived by her three girls and their spouses: Leslie & Steven Ditch, Susan & Bob Requejo and April & Joe Savage; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jeb Siqueiros, Scott & Michele Ditch, Jaimie & Trenton Moore, Austin Savage, Oliver Siqueiros and Charley Savage; and her sister and spouse Bonnie & Lyle DeVine.
