On Friday, April 6, Murray County Central eighth grade student Zach Schreier placed fifth overall at the State National Geographic Bee at Mankato State University. He scored a perfect 8/8 in the preliminary round which put him in the top ten. In the finals, Schreier ended up placing fifth out of 100+ students in the state of Minnesota! Zach is the son of Michelle Schreier. Congratulations Zach!
