MCC Knowledge Bowl is sending a team to the state knowledge bowl tournament next week. This team placed 3rd with 95.5 points at the Regional Competition on March 8th at SMSU. The top three teams from our region advance to the state competition. First place went to Worthington High School (103.5 points) and second place went to Marshall High School (96 points).
The state meet is at Cragun’s Resort near Brainerd on April 12-13th. The team will leave early on Thursday to travel to Craguns. Thursday evening will be a banquet followed by a written round of sixty questions. The scores from that round will place the teams in ranked competition rooms for Friday morning. Friday will consist of five oral rounds of 45 questions each. The awards ceremony in the mid-afternoon will conclude the competition.
