Members of Shetek Dental Care and members from Minnwest Bank hosted their 3rd Candy Buyback for MCC Elementary students. This year the Candy Buyback event was also brought to the Fulda Elementary for the first time.
The purpose of the Candy Buyback program is to purge excess candy from kids to support good dental health all while supporting the military troops. Students bring their candy to donate to the troops and they receive $1 for every pound they bring in. There were 47 students that participated from MCC Elementary and 17 students from the Fulda Elementary.
Over 130 pounds of candy was collected and will be donated to the military troops!
