1981 – Joshua Lee Imes – 2017
Joshua Imes was born on May 4, 1981 in Montevideo, Minnesota to Les and Kimberly Schroeder Imes. He grew up in Montevideo, Minnesota and made his home in Marshall, Minnesota for the past eight years. Joshua loved being with his family, but also liked his time alone. He kept himself busy playing video games, riding his bike, working out at the YMCA and art. Joshua was an amazing artist and had a lot of “unique” ideas. Joshua was the best at HUGGING! His favorite phrase was, “Do you want/need a hug?” and of course we would say, “yes!”. This wasn’t just a regular hug, this was a feet off the floor hug! That is one of the things we will miss the most. Joshua Lee Imes, 36, of Marshall MN, died unexpectedly at his home, September 14, 2017.
Remembering and missing him is his mother Kim and Scott Ruppert, Currie, MN; his brother Eric and Peyton Imes and their children: Elizabeth and Tyler Imes; his Aunt Terri and Bob Emery and their children: Brittni and Al Schmit, Bryton Emery, Benjamin Emery and Riley Emery; step siblings and their families: Jason and Lindsay Ruppert, Chris and Ashley Ruppert, Geoff Ruppert and Talia Haugen-Ruppert. His father, Les and Marsha Imes, Sioux Falls, SD; grandmother Myrtle Imes; aunts and uncles: Peggy and Todd Frieborg, Susie Imes, Mark and Nancy Imes, Brian Imes and their families.
