Jottings by Jerry – April 19

We spent a good deal of our weekend in the twin cities visiting the Science Museum Theater and catching the Polar Bear movie which was very good. We also closed down the Natural History Center looking at the World War One display. It covers everything from the actual war to life of those at home. Sacrifices were made by everyone. Sunday we walked the Minnehaha Waterfalls and Park ending the day touring the Botanical Gardens and the surrounding walks. They do appreciate the natural beauty of rocks. I would recommend all of the displays for your enjoyment. It is better to take your time. The walking at the Falls is great but the steps are numerous and worth the effort. The effort was even tough on my iWatch and took extra time charging. I don’t think I was credited with enough exercise time but how do you argue with technology. It was all there in small digital red letters with a total that was less than impressive.

We could use a good rain. The rains so far have been light but regular. The current forecast is a good rain on Wednesday. You will know how that worked out by the time you have read this. Now that we all have our taxes paid, we can hopefully start working for ourselves.

The psychology instructor had just finished a lecture on mental health and was giving an oral test.

Would you diagnose a patient who walks back and forth screaming at the top of his lungs one minute, then sits in a chair weeping uncontrollably the next?”

A young man in the rear raised his hand and answered, “A basketball coach?”

I installed a skylight in my apartment…. The people who live above me are furious!
